Possui muitos exemplares t\u00edpicos da flora e fauna regionais. \u00c9 poss\u00edvel percorrer esse bosque atrav\u00e9s de uma trilha ladeada de mata nativa, com extens\u00e3o de 1 km, antigo caminho onde foi implantando um aqueduto\u00a0 de pedra constru\u00eddo pelos escravos, h\u00e1 quase trezentos anos, que coleta \u00e1gua oligomineral em uma nascente e a conduz ao Chafariz de S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9.
